The Axis Structured Credit AIF – III (Axis Structured Credit Fund III) is a closed-ended, SEBI-registered Category II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) managed by Alternates by Axis AMC. Launched with a target base corpus of ₹1,000 crore alongside a ₹1,000 crore greenshoe option (bringing the total target size to ₹2,000 crore), this third vintage succeeds their fully-deployed ₹740 crore second fund. Led by an experienced credit team under Nachiket Naik, the fund functions as a sophisticated "performing credit" vehicle that avoids binary startup or highly distressed real estate risks. Instead, it deploys larger average ticket sizes into mid-market corporate credit, structured debt, and bespoke financing solutions—such as acquisition funding, promoter stake consolidation, and growth capex—leveraging the institutional underwriting, deal sourcing power, and rigorous risk frameworks of the broader Axis Group.
