Hormuz A. Bulsara

Mr. Hormuz A. Bulsara is a senior finance and management professional with over 28 years of

experience across investment management, finance, operations, risk management, compliance,

legal and corporate governance. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA), Fellow Company

Secretary (FCS) and Fellow Cost & Management Accountant (FCMA/FCWA), and holds Bachelor’s

degrees in Commerce (B.Com) and Law (LL.B) from the University of Mumbai.

Mr. Bulsara spent the majority of his professional career with Tata Asset Management Pvt. Ltd.,

the investment manager for Tata Mutual Fund, Tata Alternative Investment Fund and Tata

Portfolio Management Services, where he served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial

Officer until his retirement in January 2023. During his tenure of over 28 years, he played a key

role in establishing and overseeing systems, processes and policies across domestic and

international operations.

He led functions including Finance, Secretarial, Legal, Compliance, Audit, Risk Management,

Human Resources, Customer Service, Information Technology and Business Excellence. He also

served as the Chief Ethics Officer and was a senior member of the Investment Committees for the

Mutual Fund, AIF and PMS businesses, as well as the Enterprise Risk Management Committee.

As Chief Investment Officer, Mr. Bulsara brings extensive institutional experience in investment

management, risk governance, portfolio oversight and financial markets, complementing the

investment and risk management capabilities of the Fund.
